Whiteflies

by Robert Kervin
(Perrysburg, Ohio)

Whiteflies damage plants by sucking their sap in the same way as aphids.

Whiteflies damage plants by sucking their sap in the same way as aphids.

This summer my garden was loaded with white flies I used sticky traps, 160 gallon of chemicals of all kinds.

My garden is 45 ft X 55 ft, I pulled all of my tomatoes which had the largest concentration then they went to the flowers and on to other vegetables, I still have them on my late lettuce early November.
